Air Misters are great for outdoor events. They are effective for cooling hotspots in outdoor construction areas, turnarounds, shutdowns and outages. Our Air Misters can help reduce heat exhaustion and heat stress. Due to the velocity of air moving through the air mover, the evaporative cooling effect can be felt for extended distances.
Air Misters have been used to cool machinery, help reduce heat and increase humidity during concrete curing processes, and reduce dusty environments by keeping moisture in the air.
Texas Pneumatic is the only manufacturer to offer these unique portable cooling devices. Units can be purchased with or without a portable stand, or they can be mounted to a permanent fixture.
- Design:
- Atomized Mist: Compressed air and water are combined to create an “Atomized Mist”.
- Evaporated Cooling: In dry and hot climates, the mist provides an evaporative cooling effect.
- Misting and Air Movement: The mist is significantly amplified by the movement of air through the Air Mover.
- Applications:
- Industrial Cooling: Used in factories, warehouses, and workshops to reduce heat stress for workers.
- Construction Sites: Lowers temperatures and suppresses dust in high-heat environments.
- Mining & Tunneling: Provides cooling and dust control in confined underground spaces.
- Welding & Fabrication Shops: Helps maintain a safe working environment by reducing airborne particulates.
- Oil & Gas Facilities: Enhances worker comfort and safety in hot and dusty conditions.
- Confined Spaces: Used in shipyards, tanks, and enclosed areas for temperature and dust control.
- Materials:
- Frame & Stand: Powder-Coated Steel: Provides durability and resistance to corrosion. Stainless Steel (Optional): Used for extreme environments where rust resistance is required.
- Nozzles & Mist Components: Brass or Stainless Steel: Ensures precision misting and long-term durability. High-Density Plastic (Optional): Lightweight and corrosion-resistant for certain applications.
- Air & Water Fittings: Brass or Stainless Steel: Resists corrosion and maintains high-pressure integrity. Rubber or Reinforced Hoses: Used for air and water supply connections.
- Base & Mounting Components: Rubber Feet or Polyurethane Wheels: Provides stability and mobility for easy placement.
- Configurations: 8″ Horn Diameter; With or without stand; Metal Horn only
