A water-driven fan is an industrial cooling and ventilation device powered by water flow instead of electricity or compressed air. These fans use the kinetic energy of water to rotate the fan blades, generating airflow for cooling, ventilation, or drying purposes. They are commonly used in environments where electricity is limited or hazardous, such as mining, offshore platforms, and high-humidity areas.  They are for degassing of tanker ships.  These fans are driven by water pressure from fire fighting hoses aboard ships.  The exhaust water can be sent overboard or piped back into the water supply system.  These blowers can be used for supply or exhaust degassing.

  • Materials:  Fan Blades made of stainless steel provide strength and resistance to rust and harsh environments.  Housing and frame are made of  galvanized or powder-coated steel which prevents rust and ensures long-term durability.  Water turbine or nozzle system consist of brass or stainless steel to resists corrosion and maintains high efficiency under water pressure.  Mounting and support structure are made of steel or stainless steel which provides stability and durability.
